Working with Geri Ramirez and the Copper Creek team (Tony) was a wonderful experience.
We are from the Bay area and are “slowly” approaching our retirement.
My Husband and I have always agreed that once we retire we would like to leave the hustle and bustle of the bay area for somewhere a little slower paced.
Both of us enjoy the mountain lake scenario apposed the cool overcast beach scene.
We took several vacation trips scoping out other states including the mountains of Arizona of which we truly loved (Prescott, Sedona area).
However as retirement is nearing we starting looking closer to home. After all our 2 grown children are here and we do love our trips to San Francisco and Santa Cruz.
So we decided to start looking closer to home. After several day trips we decided that we liked the Sonora area. Not only was there plenty of shopping and medical facilities, there was a nice Indian Casino, beautiful mountains lakes and plenty of trees.
I did a property search on line and ran across Geri Ramirez with Copper Creek realty.
I left my name and number and was contacted immediately.
I wasn’t sure what I could afford and really wasn’t sure what kind of house or property I wanted.
Geri was so patient she sent me pictures of several houses in all price ranges.
Of course the more they were the more I wanted them!
Finally we met and Geri and her husband Tony at there office in Jamestown.
They spent the entire day with us including taking us to lunch showing us houses all over including the Murphy area.
Tony was a housing inspector at some time in his life so was able to point out any structural problems. They showed us houses of all price ranges so we could get a feel for what prices were. Then Geri referred me to a great mortgage person who explained to me all my financial options and what payments I would have depending on the amount borrowed.
Once we got a price in mind we spent several weekends with Geri. We never felt pressured into buying anything. In fact she talked us out of a couple impulse buys we wanted to jump into. She was always patient and a lot of fun! I never had so many free lunches.
If anything new came up she would email us pictures.
We finally found our dream house right outside of Sonora. Not only is it beautiful with gorgeous water fall in the back yard, it is close to all the amenities we wanted.
The house was new and we got to pick a lot of the finishing touches including hardwood floors and granite countertops. I was so nervous about everything. I must have emailed Geri everyday with questions and concerns. She always resolved all my fears and was prompt about returning my emails.
We have officially owned the house 4 months now and have been able to email or call up Geri for any questions and concerns with immediate results.
I would highly recommend Geri and the Copper Creek team (husband Tony) to anyone looking to buy or sell there house. It has truly been the most positive real estate experience we have ever had.
